Sean Wade
Founder/Consultant
20 years on the sell-side, 14 of which were at Cazenove & Co. Moved to investor relations and business development in 2013 and has held senior roles in natural resources and banking in various geographies. Exco level experience in M&A, strategic and crisis communications, capital raising, and IR and communications leadership.
Richard Feigen
Director, CEO of Capital Access Group
25 years’ experience in the City, having previously been ranked No.1 in Growth Company Magazine's list of Movers and Shakers. Richard has been offering senior advice to companies since 1995. He ran Seymour Pierce from 1999 until 2010. Richard was appointed as CEO of Capital Access Group in 2015.
Ian Barbour
Chief Operating Officer
22 years’ experience in the City in financial and legal support services, corporate communications and consulting. Ian joined Capital Access Group in 2016 which provides corporates’ with investor access, research and other IR related services. Ian is responsible for the smooth running of the Scout group of companies. A former army officer and former pro bono director of British Bobsleigh.
Rob Newman
Senior Consultant
Over 20 years in Investor Relations and Capital Markets Communications, in senior positions at major consulting firms as well as in-house at a high growth media company. Significant experience in delivering advice to Boards and Senior Management teams on issues that affect long term cost of capital, in 'steady-state' as well as IPOs, M&A, shareholder disputes and market engagement. Wide experience across most sectors, in developed and emerging markets, although with a particular affinity for healthcare, technology, media issuers and a strong interest in sustainability as it relates to valuation for clients. London-based, having lived and worked in Johannesburg and São Paulo.
John Smelt
Consultant and Member of Scout IR Advisory Board
15 years on the buy-side, prior to moving to investor relations and corporate communications in 2003. 5 years as Global Head of Investor Relations at Rio Tinto. 7 years as Head of Corporate Communications at Kazakhmys. Wide experience at exco and board level, including lead roles in various high profile transactions.
Rob Mundy
Director, Founder & CEO of Research Tree
15 years’ experience in the City, with 7 years on the sell-side at Liberum and Credit Suisse, where he led the European Oil & Gas research team. Rob founded Research Tree in 2015, building it into a platform that helps investors to access their research, companies to raise their profile, the sell-side to serve their clients, and stock exchanges to support the wider market.
David Hill
Advisor
An experienced finance & commerce professional with over 25 years city experience specialising in bringing leadership and executive support to businesses and / or boards looking to unlock their potential and drive the next stage of their journey. David has held roles such as Global COO of FICC for Aberdeen Asset Management, Chief of Staff for Deutsche Asset Management FICC as well as Global Head of Credit Derivative Operations at Deutsche Bank. Recently David founded and then successfully sold a FinTech business to a FTSE250 firm and has also operated as a NED at an AIM listed PLC.
